Job Description: Finance Executive

The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing various financial tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Key responsibilities include:

  • Classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and computers.
  • Checking figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information.
  • Preparing, maintaining, auditing, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Completing period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Coordinating tasks and working with other departments; serving as a departmental role model or mentor; assigning and ensuring work tasks are completed on time and meet appropriate quality standards.
  • Reporting work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to the manager/supervisor.
  • Following all company policies and procedures; ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information; protecting company assets.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.; at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Flexibility to work from home with adaptable hours.
